We encourage those who want to support CHIT regularly to consider sponsoring. The main benefits are to help the children and staff in India to make our work feel more personal to them, and to let you see our work through their eyes.
Sponsors can expect to receive 3 letters each year that tell something of current life in the home and school. CHIT also receives a monthly report on the homes. We sometimes receive news concerning sponsored children which we will pass on to their sponsors.
There is no "line of sight" between your gift and the expenditure on the sponsor: all are treated the same. Where we suggest an amount for sponsoring, eg £30 per month for a child, it is only an estimate derived from the monthly budget divided by the number of children.
